Clinic Overview

Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has a total capacity to monitor six newborn infants, with four incubators and two open radiant warmers. All units provide oxygen support at the appropriate concentration, and infants can be weighed while inside the incubators. All incubators are equipped with monitors.

Our unit has two isolation (sepsis) rooms, and the wastewater and ventilation systems from these rooms are safely discharged without mixing with other systems. We can perform bedside ultrasound (USG) and PA chest X-rays, and monitor patients with blood gas analysis. Additionally, our unit is equipped with 6 high-end ventilators, 1 space phototherapy unit, and 2 transport incubators.

Treatments and Procedures Performed:

  • Peripheral venous catheterization

  • Umbilical catheterization

  • Thoracic tube placement

  • Exchange transfusion

  • Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) administration

Our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is located on the same floor as the Obstetrics Unit and the operating room, and is directly adjacent to them. All high-risk newborns are safely transported to our unit in a transport incubator without being exposed to the outside environment.
