Consulting and Follow-Up: You’re Not Alone on the Path to Success
Changing your eating habits isn’t a short-distance run—it’s a marathon. It’s perfectly natural to experience fluctuations in motivation or periods of stagnation along the way. At Egemed Hospital, we don’t just give you a piece of paper and send you on your way; we support you with scientific methods until you reach your goals.

[ How Do Follow-Up Visits and Monitoring Measurements Work? ]
1. Regular Follow-Up Visits: Depending on the patient’s condition, level of motivation, and treatment needs, follow-up appointments are typically scheduled on a weekly or biweekly basis.
2. Comparison of Measurements: At each follow-up visit, measurements are taken again using the body composition analyzer. In addition to total weight, the answers to the questions “How much fat have we lost?” and “Has our muscle mass been maintained?” are analyzed graphically by comparing them with previous measurements.
3. Menu Updates and Breakthroughs: The human body adapts to a consistent diet over time (metabolic adaptation). During "plateaus"—periods when weight loss slows down—our expert dietitians will re-surprise and accelerate your metabolism by implementing strategic macro adjustments, new recipes, or detox protocols in your meal plans.
4. Transition to the Maintenance Phase: Once you have reached your target healthy weight and blood test results, the process does not end immediately. To ensure you do not regain the weight you lost (and avoid the yo-yo effect), you transition to the “Weight Maintenance Program,” thereby permanently completing your lifelong nutrition education.
