How to Interpret the Results and Referral to a Specialist
After the Check-Up: Interpretation of Results and Referral to Specialists
The most critical stage of a check-up is not simply the completion of all tests and examinations, but the accurate interpretation and clinical evaluation of the data obtained. At Egemed Hospitals, your check-up results are not merely provided to you in the form of a printed report; they undergo a detailed medical analysis process conducted by our specialist physicians.

[ Internal Medicine Consultation ]
Blood tests, ultrasound reports, cardiological findings, and all other data are evaluated holistically by our internal medicine specialist. Our specialist will transparently explain to you what values outside the reference ranges mean and how your lifestyle habits (diet, sleep, smoking, etc.) may affect these results.
[ Multidisciplinary Referral ]
If the evaluation reveals any findings that are suspicious or require further clinical investigation, the patient is referred to the appropriate specialty department at our hospital without delay. For example, in cases of rhythm abnormalities detected during an exercise test, the patient is quickly and seamlessly transferred to Cardiology; in cases of a suspicious nodule, the patient is transferred to General Surgery or Endocrinology, and the advanced diagnostic process (biopsy, MRI, angiography, etc.) is initiated.
[ Preventive Prescription: Lifestyle Changes ]
For patients who show no signs of illness but have "borderline" conditions (such as borderline blood sugar or mild fatty liver), we issue a "preventive prescription" instead of conventional medical treatment. When necessary, patients are referred to our dietitians and nutrition specialists, who develop a personalized nutrition and exercise plan to help them achieve optimal health.
